Reviews of his book, How to Lose Your ex-wife Financially Forever.
Not Worth It
By Glenn Jorgensen on August 21, 2010
Verified Purchase
This book was written by my father under the pen name Jason C. Roberts. It is understandable that I have a very different perspective on this material. In this book my father claims to be a loving father who was forced from his home by a female biased judicial system. Nothing could be further from the truth. Mr. Roberts was an abusive man whom we all feared including my mother. Because of this fear my mother never sought alimony or any part of his restaurant business. He kept all of that. He was obligated to pay $400 per month child support for the four remaining children at home. Because he faded from existence and stopped paying child support, we lived in near poverty. My mother worked in a clerical job to try to support our family, but it was not enough and we had to receive welfare assistance. I worked in odd jobs from the age of 12 to help offset some of that. This book outlines a method to hide from one's legal obligations to his family. What it doesn't outline is the great heartache and pain caused by a man's selfish desire to escape his obligations. Although the methods in this book may have worked back in the 1970's, today's computer based society can more easily track down a person trying to follow these guidelines. Please don't waste your time or money. Also consider the fate of the innocent children this will hurt should you succeed.

I know why the author hides his real identity.
By Scott McQuarrie on November 3, 2010
How cold blooded can Ronald Trask Jorgensen from Sandy Utah be? He is the author of this trash. The truth of this book is that it is his road map of how he left 5 children in poverty while while he lived well as a engineer. Ronald Trash Jorgensen is Jason C. Roberts.

Bonnie Rae
Dykes Jorgensen
1932 - 2013
Bonnie Rae Dykes Jorgensen, loving Mother, Sister, Aunt, Friend and Nanny, returned to her Father in Heaven on February 7, 2013.
Mom was born on December 1, 1932 to Isaac Franklin Dykes and Lida Caldwell. She grew up in Salt Lake City and attended Washington and Lafayette Elementary Schools, Horace Man Jr. High and graduated from West High School in 1951.
Always a hard worker, Mom had her first job at the age of 15 at the Eagle Gate Fountain, and then as a waitress at the Blue Bird Inn. Mom worked for many years at Mountain Bell and later with AT&T in many different capacities.
As a single mother, she devoted her life to raising her five children and loved them unconditionally. She worked tirelessly to provide a happy and loving home where they could learn from example of how to truly love as the Savior had taught. She was always thinking of others, meeting every trial and challenge with positivity and a smile. Her example of unflinching dedication to her children and family is something that will be forever cherished. We will remember her legacy as one who cared, loved, and sacrificed making sure others were comfortable and happy. She was blessed with many gifts, but above all her charitable words and actions will forever stay in the hearts and minds of her family. Later in life she experienced many health issues but never lost her smile and grace, even during these difficult times. She was a much loved patient, and the nurses who worked with her at various locations would frequently remark how much they missed Mom after she had transferred from their care.
Her love was like a torch that brightened the life of every person she encountered. Our lives have been forever influenced for the better due to the example she set.
Mom leaves behind her five children; Robyn Jarrard (Dave), Eric Jorgensen (Julie), Glenn Jorgensen (Shelly), Stacey McQuarrie (Scott), Hal Jorgensen (Amy), 18 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty and brother Caldwell.
Forever in our heavy hearts Mom. We love you.
"If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So don't you ever cry.
The love that's deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
You'll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal our hearts."
